Ange Benoit - Royal New Zealand Foundation for the Blind Dear Ken,I just wanted to give you an update on the recent Foundation of the Blind Gala Charity Auction we held, which you so generously supported. As you saw, the night was a wonderful success, with Michael Hingson living up to his reputation as an inspiring and motivation speaker - Roselle was also a very well behaved guest! We have had a lot of positive feedback about the night, especially the venue and the catering! The acution raised over $28,000.00 with the net proceeds directly benefiting the 1,100+ blind and vision impaired members in our region. Thanks to your support we raised $400.00 from the in-house dinner for 4 gifted us for the Charity Auction. Rowan Bichop was spoken about with high regard, and hopefully the promotion of your name will benefit you in the future. We know that you will often get asked to contribute to worthwhile events such as ours, and really do appreciate that you thought favourably of us.
